“The pause between stimulus and reaction transforms the quality of any movement or interaction.” Pause. Breathe into your wings, laterally into your lungs, out to the sides and let your ribcage melt down onto your body as you exhale. Do that again. Use this whenever something touches you without your presence.

This is a great post.
That last sentence blew me away. I have literally spent my entire life being touched by things without my presence but unable to articulate why that felt so appallingly uncomfortable, or even what was happening. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
