I had the honour of sitting with Dr. Frank Lipman and Lauren Zander to discuss how epigenetics play a role in our health and healing; we CAN change our thoughts
in order to heal and stay well.

MoMA: Pour Your Body Out (7354 cubic meters) by Pipilotti Rist
To test his camera, Michael Rothman of Mudbutter shot this just prior to my first collaboration with Flavorpill at the MoMA, amidst Pipilotti Rist‘s riveting installation in the atrium.
Practice from adidas: Shakti Expansion
This is an hour-long shoulder-centric sequence designed for the global adidas yoga teachers, entitled SHAKTI EXPANSION, which was released in Fall 2010. Standing poses, twists, binds, backbends, forward bends, meditation and shavasana, all taught to bring you to a greater awareness of your spacious, limitless creativity and self-worth. The hour is divided into segments, so you can practice one at a time or let them flow. The music is from “Ocean of the Heart” [Shavasana tracks] by Todd Norian, available at Todd’s online store.

VYou: Ask Questions and See Video Responses

Yoga Aid Give Love Tour: Y@GL and Wanderlust
Kasey rocks. She was at the Great Lawn, she’s coming to Wanderlust, and together we will GIVE LOVE to anyone watching. Her commitment to her work is contagious and I love chatting with her wherever we land. And she gave props to my gorgeous mama. Much love; GIVE LOVE!
Yoga at the Great Lawn
What a moment. When we were finally able to begin the practice, I introduced the sustainer of yoga in NYC, Sri Dharma Mittra, to lead OMs for us. As we got rolling, the Parks Department was at my feet saying we had to shut it down due to the rain. A sweet round of OMs, one sun salutation and 20,000 hands and 10,000 hearts full of gratitude later, the rain poured down, Part II became a reality and we all had a taste of what’s to come, gathering that many people into one collective, conscious, community. With love and gratitude until our next chance at this gathering…
YogaEarth
YogaEarth features on their YouTube page some very sweet “Mixtape” videos with varied teachers. This was shot on Venice Beach, it was mostly a test run, as I had my son there with me… then he ended up being an integral part of the clip. I hope it serves to illustrate the reality of practicing with and around our kids.
Yogaglo
As a Yogaglo teacher, I’m honored to have the chance to share classes more broadly.
